Funny trip to Dakshineshwar and Belur Math

Found some happy fellows in my PG and we decided to go for a holy trip! We are well off with the generation next hang outs in city center and places like that but not to forget we are cultural :-P So we four girls from different ethnicities hit the road to Dakshineshwar.

Walking towards the bus depot, we got stuck with two cute lil’ distractions – sons of a bitch. Hey, I meant puppies (come on J).

We were already late for the trip but could not stop taking some snaps of those two. We moved ahead, my friend saw one bus going towards the temple but I advised against getting on that bus ‘cos I thought that it was coming from the temple. After reaching the depot we sat on the same bus which went in the same direction :-p.

The journey started and all of us dozed off. When I opened my eyes it was almost dark outside. It took such a long time to reach the place. Finally we reached. I was leading the team because they were new here. Asked the road people for directions and moved accordingly. I stopped at the board where Dakhshineshwar was written in huge bold letters. Eureka! Found it!

Before entering I told them to stand beside the gate for a click. Walking toward the place, the girls were asking me why that place has only one temple ‘cos there was supposed to be many. On top of that I was hearing railway announcements. I stopped and asked a woman, “Isn’t this the temple?”. The man next to her replied, “No, this is a metro station."

(I am so bustedL). Instantly our girl from south told us to follow her. She actually knew the way. About turn and left-right (lol). We took a turn and went to the actual temple J

Could not roam about much because the temple was about to close. After a lot of pulling and shoving in the queue, we managed to see Kali Ma and I also tied a string of hope on the railing near the Shiva temple.

Moving on we planned to go for a boat ride to Belur math. They all hopped on the ferry except me. I was still standing on the deck with legs shaking. Man I am such a freak :-p. Told the boat guy to hold both of my hands and then I stepped in (phew!). Throughout the ride we had a jolly time taking snaps, rolling over the boat and trying not to fall off hehe!

It took 15 minutes to reach belur. Again I freaked out while stepping out. One guy held one hand of mine; still I was looking for another. My friend raised her hand but I refused. Waving my free hand to another guy, “you please hold my hand?!” Got down safelyJ

Belur was totally different from Dakshineshwar. It’s calm and clean! We were not allowed to take snaps but the place was so overwhelming our hands itched to take photographs. Sadly we could not. Looking around here and there we were directed towards the inside of the monastery where Lord Ramakrishna resides. We were not allowed to make any sound while we entered. Everybody was meditating. I also thought of meditating so we sat along with the crowd. I closed my eyes and started praying. Everyone was so quiet that I could only hear them breathe. But someone was snoring lols! Man, he could not find any other place? I controlled my laughter and quickly went out of that place.

We travelled around and started moving towards the other side of the edifice. Again we weren’t allowed to go there. I saw a big car nearing towards us. I and my friend kept on looking for the VIP inside the car but all we could see was an orange cap on the front seat besides the driver. Was he invisible?:-O. "Arrey where is the man?", my other friend replied, "look outside the car he has stepped out." :-P :-P

We were through with the sightseeing and so it was a wrap for the day. Time to go home! I was thinking that this would be a holy trip but it ended up to be a funny one! God, do forgive us if we went wrong somewhere would ya?!!!

Till we meet again

Here I go again on my second romantic adventure on 9th September 2010…
The road till destiny has got several turns and those turns converge together to lead the way. But the process takes a lo...ng time. Well my love life is divided into several destinies, and I book my tickets to reach ‘em ha-ha! This is how I planned to meet him in his home town.
The train was early in the morning at 6:15am. I stay one or two hours away from the station so, I had to leave home at most by 4:30am. The day before my meet, went in a total rush. Ahem… a heart rush :-P I had a makeover. Did all kinds of cures on my body. Had a nice hair cut etc etc. Had to look as lovable as I could be (blushes)! I could not stand in the college for long as my trip was making butterflies flutter in my stomach. So I came back to prepare for my journey.
At around 1:00 am, I slept with my alarm to ring sharp at 3:15am. I was drowning into thoughts all over my mind. Slowly my eyes calmed down and I slept lightly.
My alarm nudged me to bring back my senses and I started to gear up for the train. I went out from my pg at around 4:25am. Early in the morning the road looks so lonely and spooky too… As it had rained the entire night the road was shining in the street light. As lucky as it gets, I got a bus till station. I had to wait for the train as I was an hour early to reach. 6:00 am struck, and there came the train. I got up, and within 15 min the train was all set to move.
Ah at last! I was making my baby steps to reach my baby hi hi! Was keeping myself totally thrilled and awake by playing songs in my ears and eating snacks. But soon my poor little sleep-deprived body dozed me off.
The train reaches his hometown in 4 hours and I was passing the time in looking at the scenes out of the window, thinking about him and also apprehending that I won’t get any calls from my family. But I could not get away from it. My mom called me. I did not pick up. Instead I called my didi who stays one station before my boyfriend’s hometown. I asked whether she had let her mom tell anything about my trip. She said no. Thank goodness… I simply put my phone off and awaited the destiny.
Last hour to the final station. I got impatient. I messaged him to get ready to pick me up. He was already in the station that time. Oh my… he was more excited than I was! So finally the train slowed down and entered his town. I had got up already and was looking out of the window to recognize his legs. I found him. He was looking at every window to find me. And I was just observing him and coming forward towards the door. He looked at the last window against the door and there he found me standing at the door. I got off the train and stood in front of him. Gosh did he get taller than usual or what? Oh well…long time that’s why ;-)
We were smiling at each other so normally but our hearts knew how we longed to see each other. My heart was thumping like a drum beat. Felt like grabbing him in my arms no matter the crowd around us. But it did not come out and I just walked along to pave way towards the city. He had come in his new sexy sports bike. Hell. I freak out to get up on a pillion behind him and this time it was higher than usual. Anyways I strode to get up and whoosh… we were out of the station. He took me to his college hostel first to keep his bag that he was carrying on his shoulders. We got in from the back gate and it was a huge campus bigger than BIT Mesra. He could not keep his bag because his class was still going on. So we got out from there and went to Fame (movie theatre). He booked tickets for an ultra sad movie “We are family” (Chhaah). Had some meal before that in a restaurant besides Fame. There was no one in the restaurant other than the attendants and us. Thought I would take this opportunity to do some mischief but my cautious BF controlled me :-(
We had food and it had already started to drizzle outside. So we ran towards the movie theatre. The hall was almost empty. Nobody watches movie in the early afternoon and that too a dull film like this one. Basically there were a few couples who had taken their seats within such distances that no couple would bother to see the other. He and I were in the last corner.
I was leaning on his chest and he embraced me throughout the movie. No comfort can get better than this. Towards the end of the movie as I had already told you that it was a pathetic weepy one, I had started to cry. Well partly it was the movie effect but also because I had to part with him again. Little by little my intensity got higher and I started weeping like a child. My Bf tells me that I always have a crying scene whenever I come to meet him. So it’s like a ritual to me:-P Anyways, he patted my head to hush me and gave me his hanky. I cleaned my face and made it dirty lols. He did not mind that (aww)!
The movie ended in 2 and half hours. We barely saw it. We were so engrossed in each other. Thereafter we spent some time in a coffee house and then we got on a ride again. This time he took me out of his city over the highway to experience the drive of his new bike. He asked me how it was. I told him no sports bike looks good unless he speeds up. So he rose close to 100kph. That made me crazy. I never had a high like this before. I grabbed him as tight as possible but it felt as if I am losing my hold. He slowed down to normal again after sometime… Phew better! Sure that ride was smooth!
He showed me the city along the way and I was uninterested. I was just clinging over him thinking that this time would never end but it had to…
He brought me to the station and arranged a window seat in the train. He sat next to me as long as the train would not leave. But I told him to get down. He did not listen. I insisted, and then he got off the train. He was still looking at me from the window and I couldn’t meet eyes with him. They were glistening with tears. I can’t stand to see him move away from me. I turned my head away from him but he was still looking at me. As he saw that I wasn’t looking at him anymore he again got into the train to see me. He wanted to say not to cry but I would cry anyway so he asked me something else. I had to go to my cousin’s place from there so he asked whether I had told my bro to pick me up. I said yes. Tears had already trickled down and I forced him to go away. He did not want to listen to me but he understood and bid goodbye.
Train left, he was gone already. Everybody in the train was seeing me as if it was a drama. I managed to ignore and look away from the window but thoughts of him were making my heart get heavier. Soon after sometime his hometown got very far and I made up my mind. Till we meet again…

Unforgettable Digha

It was a rushing dawn. I had to wake up early to receive him from the station. The night before was a stunning experience. Danced my life in the disco, lost my cell phone from the lounge. Of course I made him mad as well ha-ha! On top of that, I did my assignment till 2 am wow ;-)
Anyways... So I got up, got ready, took a bus and whoosh...
Alone in the bus, nervous and excited, I was slowly reaching close to the station. Finally, I was there. I called him up, asked where he was waiting; he said I was on the right track. He was close to the place where I was looking for him. My eyes were desperate to have one glance of him. Just after a while, I saw him. We moved towards each other like an invisible force of attraction. When the distance faded away between us, we hugged. Oh! My life came back to me. He quickly booked a taxi and we headed towards the bus depot. Just as we stepped out of the taxi, our bus was waiting for us. Sure the time was right for us. We were all set for Digha!!

Oh re manwa tu toh bawra hai… kyu dikhaye sapne tu sote jagte…
Jo barse sapne boond boond
Naino ko moond moond
Kaise mai chalu, dekh na saku anjane raaste

The song of “Iktaara” added a special meaning to our journey. We did not know that we will get a time like this together. Sure we were crazy. We were taking our dreams together in those unknown roads to a place away from the crowd. I was amazed to see things getting real to me...
It was a pretty long journey. I dozed off on his shoulders, I did not even know how the time passed by so soon. I recaptured my senses and saw his face. “Oh, you are here, we are really going to Digha!” Ha-ha!
We were going along alright till suddenly the bus halted in the middle of the road. We were 25 minutes close to the place. But what happened? Heard that there was a strike going on. The bus won’t go any further. Alas! I was confused what was going to happen next. He got down from the bus and told me to stay inside. I was scared. He came back to tell me that we have to get off from the bus right away. I was reluctant to get off. Same was with all the rest of the passengers. The bus strode to go a lil’ further but… We had to get off after some time. No more dreams, this was reality… That also a shocking one!
What next? We took our bags on our shoulders and started to look for a lift. Lift? There is no lift in a village. Hardly could we see any cars on the way. Those which we saw did not wait for us. There were some scooter like carts over the road. Yeah, that was our only way out. As soon as one cart got ready, we all rushed to grab a seat. Thankfully, we both got our place on the cart. But he was painstakingly clinging to the seat as he was the tallest of the lot :-P
From AC to natural AC, we were all consoling ourselves that this cart is our life saver. The roads were so narrow, that we were riding against the thorny bushes. Imagine what was his condition lols! But it was fun all the way. We were passing the local people and they were looking at us with humor. Even I was smiley faced througho
ut the way. It did not matter how tacky the place was, it was an adventure.
After a long and painful journey of dust and thorns, we finally…Yes, finally reached our destination!
The first part was a dream second was an eye opener. I think the twist was necessary to add a spark to my trip. Anyway, all’s well that ends well…

Ooh baby baby !

Hmm.. long time here.. Well a lot of things happened lately..At home, nothing special but outside.. sure is something special..Made gajar ka halwa for him some days back, that too on an unexpected day..Last night,I had a stupid argument with him.Don't know how it came around. And he is (my goodness), too much of a stubborn boy.He does not stay calm when things are firing up.Now a days I don't feel like arguing much, specially on worthless topics. But, for him its like a game.. Anyway..The night did not go too well.I woke up this morning and it was raining all day.Gave him a call at around 6:43, said I am sorry..it did not move him much and in return he said, he has to see today if he gets free to meet me.I said okay.I spent the whole day as I do normally.. sleeping, eating, listening to music..Had a hope in head that we shall meet today but the weather was disappointing me.Evening striked, still the rain did not stop.My God,such an unpredictable weather we have it here.I was hoping against hope.I also thought that this time if I see him, I won't talk much, rather listen and try to behave (lols).I gave him a msg saying he might not be able to see me..But then he called me,asked me where shall we see today.Such a stupid he is.He did not take an umbrella with him and was staying inside the office because of that.I said lets meet at Rice 'n spice. He went out with a spare umbrella and told me to meet there and so I did (after some 20 mins).
The restaurant was empty by then.Only a few people( two or three) were sitting at the corner of the room.So we sat where we always use to sit. This time together on the couch. He started talking about his hectic day, his responsibilities have increased.I was all ears, was looking in his eyes to make him feel cared.I had got all wet in the rain.Still, being with him always feels warm.I did not mention how our last night went. That was a good job which I did.Forget the bad times and start a new.It really worked. He was playing a bit with me.. with all his crazy opinions about me.I felt ok , at least he was not upset with me.I also teased him saying that his zip is open(which was not).It made him check whether it really was open ha ha! He was tired and worried about the coming schedule which is going to be tough. There was nobody but us in the room now.I massaged his head for sometime. He was so relaxed. His eyes were closed and he was whispering how it feels good just to have a touch while having a head ache.I liked how he appreciated and kept gently massaging his head and neck for some while (as long as the room was without any waiters). Then a waiter came along. He asked for the bill.I waited till the waiter went away and took up the chance to give my baby a peck.I held his cheek and gave a short and sweet kiss-y.He felt good. Then I shy ed away from him.He asked me what happened.I said nothing and smiled. Then he opened his hand to give him mine.I kept my cold hand over his.He held with his both hands and made me feel warm.I loved it so much. These are the things which makes me forget all the bad times I have. These are the ways to know, that he is the same lover as he used to be.We went out, took an auto,he sat in the middle and was next to me.Half of my body was getting drenched in the rain.He kept his arms around me all the while.I did not feel cold at all.Seriously, rain is good.It adds to the special feeling.Oh what a day.Short but sweet...
I am in love again

Innocent infatuation

My very first crush was when I was in class 2. Its true that I did not know what was love that time..I was a baby :-) Only now I know what was that all about. There was a cute lil' boy in my class. He was fair ,had soft chubby cheeks and big eyes just like crystals. His cherry lips were always set in a pout. I always wanted to share my tiffin with him (it was the way to express my love that time haha!!) One day, I got a lucky chance to share my tiffin with him. The whole class was somewhat empty. He and I were sitting adjacent to each other. I looked at his tiffin and chuckled a bit. We both had brought breads in our tiffins. The only difference was that,he had bread and jam and I had bread and butter ^-^. I asked him, " Do u want to share ?.." He asked me what I have and I answered. He then asked me whether my butter was bought or home made.I paused for a while. My lil' brains gave me an idea that he might like if I say that the butter was home made ( it was actually not :-p). So I said the same thing which I thought. I waited for a good response, may be a little dimple on his face. But alas, he did not take it. Poor me, I could not even take his bread and jam in return ..' ';)

Coincidental crush..

My first eye spy with him was at CL(Career Launcher) .He was standing at a corner of the office and I was chatting with a friend. When my eyes turned towards him, my heart skipped a beat and I had a rush of adrenaline. I felt like running to him and jumping over him and …. (It is censored).I couldn't control myself from uttering “handu handu handu (handsome)….” repeatedly and loudly; fortunately my friend was there to shut me up. I had surely gone bonkers.
Second time was when I was on a rickshaw and he was walking on the road. I was surprised to see a guy like him without a bike. Out of the blue, our eyes met again. I was tickled a bit thinking "sorry dear, I can't give u a lift". Oh how I wish I could have given him the lift ! After some time at CL, he came in, I was sitting at the reception; one momentary eye lock and then I passed away!! And these never ending sequels just kept on happening.
A few days later, I was waiting for Anindita ma’am for a mock interview. I met Mona ma’am. That time i did not try to find him.I was going to attend a Gd pi at an MBA institute.I asked ma'am about my gd performance and some tips to handle the interview. She suggested me a few things and not just that, she praised about my new look and hairstyle. This got him into attention. She said good things about me to Anindita ma'am too and there I was, standing in the middle of the appraisal and blushing.
One day ,i missed a very good opportunity to meet him in person when he came to our class.Poor me :( I stood for a next chance.I went to CL to get some college details and of course, saw him again. He was sitting in the office and Mona ma'am yapping without a cause. He wasn't even interested in her.I went to the office asking mam about our next class. She hardly payed attention.I was a bit embarrassed,i asked again. She told me a wrong date.I actually knew when to come. You know why i went there?:p. Sadly,he didn't come to class again :(.But once i saw him pass from behind me. He is tall like my ex bf.He also somewhat looks like my bf,but he is any day better!
I wonder why I get these goosebumps whenever i see him and also can't understand why such coincidences keep on happening to me.Is it just so normal like a coincidence or something more? May be because i want to see more of him everyday and my dreams get lucky.
One time,i went to the washroom to comb my hair.I had my radio ear phones on.I heard some knocks on the door.I deliberately ignored thinking "I am not going to open until I am ready to go out" . When the knocking didn't stop,i quickly opened the door and what tha?...I saw him again,.. looking in an urgency :-P. I had made up my mind before that I won't pay attention to him the next time i see him. I came out ,saw him and quickly turned my eyes away before he saw me. I did a pretty good job in showing off. I mean, its not that he can be the only cute guy to look upon. I am too ;-)
More surprises? Here we go again. It was today.I didn't plan to go to CL.It was because of my friend for who i had to do some shopping and CL was near the street.I wished he was there, and lucky me.I went there to talk with the director about my college selection. The director was busy at that time so I passed the time wandering around (of course to look for him).Couldn't find him,so i sat down and started chatting with a class mate.Out of nowhere, the cute guy glanced at me from the distance.Where was he hiding? lol.He came to the director's room and stared at me at the doorway.Suddenly I felt so shy,I lowered my head down from him.Boy what a crush! Now my eyes shy out from him lol.
Sometime later I went to drink water.Looks like i had some more to see of him.He was right in front of me but with a glass door between us.I moved around the window and kept myself busy to have a lil' peek at him.Sometimes talking to Prodipto sir ,you know,to create an impression, sometimes calling on the phone and voila,..i did pretty good at this.I received two phone calls consequently.I got so busy doing all these that i forgot to drink water and the maid took the glass away from me.Awesome,..I saved some more time drinking it again(haha!!!).Wow what a day!
Lets see, I also have a class tomorrow, may be some more surprises to come.I am just looking forward to it.I don't even know his name.My friend tells me to ask him out.Ya,what a joke,i can't even open my mouth to speak to him directly.I am just living in a bubble. But a few more coincidental attacks will surely make me fall for him.
Wish i had a cute boy to love me..
